Dear Potential New Member,
Throughout your college career at Southeast Missouri State University there will be many opportunities to get involved. One way to get involved is to go through Panhellenic Recruitment and join one of the seven Panhellenic chapters on campus. Joining a sorority gives you the opportunity to form bonds with your sisters to create an enriching college experience while finding your home away from home.
Going through sorority recruitment may be one of the most stressful times during your college career, it is also the most rewarding. Recruitment takes place twice throughout the school year. In the fall semester formal recruitment takes place during early September. During this process potential new members meet each of the seven sororities on campus through a mutual selection process over the course of five days.
To learn more about fall formal recruitment and to register please visit http://www.semogreeks.com/sorority-recruitment. Informal recruitment takes place in the spring. If you are interested in going Greek and joining Gamma Phi Beta in the spring please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Joining Gamma Phi Beta will provide you with a rich and rewarding collegiate experience, filled with an exceptional blend of opportunities to empower you from college onward. Membership will equip you with tools to help you excel in the areas of leadership, scholarship, philanthropic involvement and personal development. Once you have completed your undergraduate years, you will have formed lifelong friendships and continue your lifelong commitment to Gamma Phi Beta as an alumna. Gamma Phi Beta Sorority is a true lifetime experience where we are committed to helping our members achieve their greatest potential at every stage in life.
I found my home away from home in Gamma Phi Beta and I hope that you can do the same during your time at Southeast. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go Greek. I have been able to truly find the girls that will be in my bridal party and been given many opportunities to advance myself that I otherwise would not have without Gamma Phi Beta. Feel free to contact me with any questions you have about recruitment or about Gamma Phi Beta!
With G Phi Love,
Membership Vice President
